Processing Methods
Mainly suitable for injection molding.
Drying Treatment: Drying may be required if the package is damaged and the material is exposed to air. Refer to the official technical data sheet for specific drying parameters (temperature and duration), as such information is not specified herein.
Injection Molding: High flowability and hot‑runner compatibility are prominent features of this grade. Relatively low injection pressure is generally required during processing. Its high flowability helps improve filler dispersion and enhance weld‑line strength of finished parts.
Blending Modification: It shows good compatibility with base resins such as PP and PE for impact modification. Determine the proper loading ratio by testing according to performance requirements.
Dow‑DuPont ENGAGE™ 8402 POE is a high‑flow, high‑transparency elastomer. It is especially suitable for injection‑molded articles requiring fast molding, light‑weighting and good surface appearance, and can also be used as an impact modifier.
